Liam Kane-Grade is a freelance journalist and narrative writer who teaches English at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he is the faculty advisor for the Exponent, Wisconsin’s longest-running continuously-published student newspaper. He has worked as a newspaper, magazine and online reporter in rural Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin and Silicon Valley. He holds an M.A. in journalism from Stanford and an M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Minnesota.
Liam is proficient in the use of media editing, layout and data analysis software packages, including Ableton Live, Final Cut Pro X, Samplitude, Avid Media Composer, Tableau and SQLite. Liam focused on multimedia and data journalism and qualitative communication research at Stanford.
